A former OR nurse, Craig DeVore runs DeVore’s Arbor Care with a surgical attention to detail. He learned the art of tree removal and tree pruning during his years working for several arborists in West Virginia. What started as a side gig to help pay his way through nursing school quickly led to a deep passion for work in the canopy.
An avid rock climber turned certified arborist, Craig quickly transitioned his rope management and proprioceptive skills toward efficient work in the tree. He has truly discovered his niche in the arboricultural industry and takes pride in operating a five-star business. With over seven years of experience and mentorship from several veteran arborists, Craig brings a wide berth of tree expertise to the Upstate and strives to provide top quality services for the local community.

A SC upstate local, Justin is a critical member of the team and the best loader operator in the area. He saves our backs daily by operating our little giant to haul brush and logs. He brings years of equipment operation experience from a lengthy construction background. Aside from his construction and tree industry experience, he is a former police officer, serving over 10 years as a state trooper. He is married with 2 kids and enjoys working on his land, tinkering with cars, and shooting firearms. He is a vital asset to DeVore’s Arbor Care, operating and maintaining equipment for the company and completing our stump grinding.

"Tarzan Danny" is our top climber and a long term employee. He has an extensive background in slack lining and high-lining. For those unfamiliar with high lining, it's essentially tight rope walking on a 1" piece of webbing strung hundreds of feet off the ground (you do wear a harness in case of a fall). His background means that Danny is no stranger to heights and has a great understanding of knots and rope management technique. He has climbed and roped down many large trees in tight areas. When he's not climbing trees, he can be found enjoying the local outdoor recreation opportunities. He spends his weekends white water kayaking on the Chattooga river, mountain biking in North Carolina, or high-lining in Linville Gorge.
